Video clipping for your workflow
Make podcast clips from the conversations you already recorded
A podcast episode can hold several useful moments: a clear answer, a memorable quote, or a short explanation that works without the full conversation. ThirdClip helps you find those moments in a long recording and prepare them as branded vertical clips. Upload an MP4, review the suggested sections, and choose the clips you want to render.
Start with an episode file
ThirdClip works from an uploaded MP4 source. If your podcast is published on a hosting service or YouTube, first obtain a video file that you are allowed to use, then upload it in the app. The product does not import a podcast feed or fetch a YouTube link. This keeps the workflow clear: you choose the recording, and ThirdClip processes that upload.
Before starting, choose a brand theme. You can set your brand name, colors, font and caption style, and add a logo. Captions can be enabled or turned off. The saved theme gives the clips a consistent look, so you do not need to rebuild those choices for every episode.
Review moments in context
ThirdClip reads the transcript and scores sections for how well they stand alone as short-form posts. A clip pick includes a title, time range, and score. Use those details to jump back to the original context and decide whether the excerpt communicates a complete idea. Automated picks are a starting point for your review; you remain in control of which clips to keep.
For a guest interview, you might favor an answer that gives a listener a useful takeaway. For a solo episode, a concise explanation may work better. The process does not require you to edit a timeline just to identify possible moments. Review the picks, select the ones that fit your audience, and continue to the export step.
Keep the look consistent
Selected clips can be rendered as branded MP4 exports. Your saved colors, logo, font and caption settings are applied to the output. The result is a vertical short-form video that you can download and prepare for your own publishing workflow. ThirdClip creates the files; you decide where and when to post them.
This can make a repeatable step out of repurposing a weekly show. Process an episode when it is ready, review its suggested moments, and download the selected clips. Plans set limits for how many clips you can pick per run and how many render actions are included, so check the current plan details in the app when deciding how to use a recording.
