ThirdClip

Video clipping for your workflow

Share short moments from a sermon recording

A sermon recording can include a brief teaching, a memorable phrase, or an explanation that is meaningful on its own. ThirdClip helps you locate candidate moments in an uploaded MP4 and prepare selected sections as branded short-form clips. You review every suggestion, decide what represents the message, and download the exports for your own publishing process.

Use a recording you can upload

ThirdClip processes uploaded MP4 video files. It does not connect to a church streaming service, import a media library, or fetch a YouTube video from its link. If the recording is hosted online, obtain a video file through a method you are allowed to use, then upload that file in the app. You stay responsible for permissions and for choosing the source recording.

Before processing, configure a brand theme. Add your organization or ministry name, select colors and a font, choose a caption style, and upload a logo if you use one. Captions can be enabled or disabled. The saved settings help the resulting clips feel like part of your existing communication, rather than a separate visual template.

Review suggested sermon moments

ThirdClip reads the transcript and ranks sections that may work as standalone short-form posts. A suggestion includes a title, its position in the source recording, and a score. That makes it easier to review a long sermon and revisit the surrounding words before making a selection.

A transcript-based suggestion cannot decide what is theologically accurate, pastoral, or appropriate for your community. Review each excerpt in context. Make sure the clip preserves the intended meaning and does not remove a qualification that matters. Keep only the moments that your team is comfortable sharing in a shorter format.

Prepare clips for your channels

Render the moments you select as branded MP4 files. Your configured colors, logo, font and caption preferences are applied to the exports. Download the files and use your normal review and publishing steps. ThirdClip generates the clips, while your team retains editorial control over selection and distribution.

This approach can help a small communications team make more use of a recording without manually searching the full timeline for every possible excerpt. Start with one MP4, inspect the clip suggestions, and render only the sections that fit your purpose. The product is a tool for preparing video files; it does not schedule or publish posts for you.
